Independent Complaints Advocacy Northumberland (ICAN) Service

Healthwatch Northumberland is the “independent consumer champion for local health and social care services”. We give people living in Northumberland a voice when it comes to how these local services should be delivered. We want to hear about your experiences (positive or negative) with health and social care services, such as: GPs, hospitals, opticians, dentists, pharmacies, the ambulance service, care homes and home care. Please get in touch and tell us about your experiences! We also provide a free and independent NHS complaints advocacy service, “Independent Complaints Advocacy Northumberland” (ICAN), for people who need support to make a complaint about an NHS Service that they have used. Through our information and signposting service, we can also help you find the right health and social service you need for advice, support or information.
